Dont forget cases are built to be water resistant. i wont say ''Proof".. I will be putting my Unit close to the water main disconnect. And for Those who live in warm areas. these case seal so well, hard for the buggs to get in.. Fans are optional. depends on how high of a usual loads. If the normal load is under a 100a. then i wouldnt bother. Even 150a for 20min would be ok
